A safe environment and a promising future for every child
In Burundi, Help a Child is committed towards improving lives of vulnerable children by promoting their access to ECD services, education, healthcare, nutrition, basic rights and protection. The organization also contributes towards social protection and improved resilience of families in communities affected by climate change, conflict and/or poverty through disaster response, humanitarian and development nexus projects.
Help a Child collaborates with the Ministry of health and the fight against AIDS, the ministry of interior affairs, public security and community development, the Ministry of solidarity, social affairs and gender, Private Dutch Donors, the United Nations Children’s Education Fund (UNICEF) and the World Food Programme (WFP) to provide a safe environment and a promising future for children in need, their families and entire community.
