Empowering local partners

Help a Child Africa works closely with local implementing partners to strengthen their capacity and create lasting improvements in the lives of children and their communities.

In collaboration with partners such as the National Council of Churches of Kenya (NCCK), Anglican Development Services South Rift (ADS South Rift) and Africa Inland Church Child and Community Development (ACCAD), Help a Child Africa invests in training, coaching, knowledge sharing and joint programme development. This strengthens partners' expertise in areas such as Early Childhood Development, child protection, community empowerment and sustainable livelihoods.

Ownership

By encouraging partners to take ownership of their programmes, identify local needs and develop context-specific solutions, Help a Child Africa supports them in becoming stronger and more sustainable organisations. Collaboration with communities and local authorities further strengthens their ability to address challenges, build local capacity and improve children's well-being over the long term.
