Child Protection

Every child has the right to grow up safe, protected and loved. Help a Child Uganda promotes child protection by strengthening the capacity of parents, caregivers, communities and local partners to recognise and address risks to children's safety and well-being. Through positive parenting, community engagement and support for safe and inclusive learning environments, we work to prevent violence, abuse, neglect and exploitation. By raising awareness of children's rights and encouraging shared responsibility for their protection, we help create lasting change so that all children, especially those in vulnerable situations, can grow, learn and thrive.
