Through parenting education and group-based learning, parents explore topics such as positive parenting, child nutrition, the importance of play, early learning and child protection. The Parenting Challenge encourages parents to reflect on their parenting practices, share experiences and learn practical ways to create a safe, loving and stimulating home environment.
Help a Child Malawi recognises that children's well-being starts at home. By connecting parenting support with community-based Early Childhood Development (ECD) centres, the organisation strengthens collaboration between parents, caregivers and communities. Parents are encouraged to nurture their children's development, use positive discipline and support learning from an early age. By building parenting skills and strengthening community support, Help a Child Malawi helps create an environment where children feel safe, valued and supported to reach their full potential.
